PARTNER-LEVEL LEAD DEVELOPER

Code4Design, Inc. (www.code4design.com), a web-based CMS, Email Marketing, and Ecommerce software company, is seeking a multitalented Lead Developer to help take our products and services to the next level.

Responsibilities:
--assist with the launch of version 3.0 of our software, which is a major rewrite to OO best practices and an AJAX-based UI.
--work with resellers to complete complex customization/integration projects
--code core software framework and developer api's
--write developer documentation for use by in-house and third-party developers
--manage and train junior staff
--fill in on support and simpler integration tasks as needed

Required Skills:
--Extraordinary LAMP development skill. CS degree + 5 years of web programming experience or 10 years of web programming experience if no CS degree.
--Object-Oriented Design best practices/Design Patterns
--HTML/XHTML
--CSS
--XML
--SOAP
--Javascript
--DOM/DHTML
--AJAX
--CVS/version control
--UML a plus

Code4Design is a virtual company, with staff in California, Texas, and overseas. The Lead Developer may work from anywhere in the world, however the following requirements lead us to a preference for a US-based individual:
--Work during a US time zone (Eastern through Pacific are OK, we just need a good overlap window with other staff).
--Perfect written and spoken English. (In our experience it's very rare but not impossible for a non-native speaker to achieve this)
--Fast and reliable internet connection. This is critical for remote work to function well.

Compensation: $100,000/year, 50% cash, 50% equity.
